Welcome
For the last 23 years, I have tutored students so they can achieve the academic success they seek.
I take a passionate interest in all that concerns teenagers, especially their path to college, including SAT/ACT testing, applications, choosing colleges to apply to, and application essays (yes, I do help lots of kids to think of topics and get them out on paper). Over the years, I’ve taught many hundred students and I’ve loved nearly all of them! Although I’m located in northern Westchester County, NY, my students have come from the tri-state area. I’ve even tutored kids in Alaska and Florida by phone and Skype, but there’s nothing like getting to know a teenager in person.
I only tutor students one-on-one. I have found that by getting to know each student, I can tailor each session to his or her needs. Not only can I address each student's weaknesses but I can build on each student's strengths, allowing each student to feel good about progress and achievement.
